About the Owner of Royal Consulting
Rokeya also know as MsQueenRo CEO and Founder of Royal Consulting, LLC began building her LIFE + CAREER + TRAVEL royal brand in 2017. Her passion for coaching, stemmed from Corporate America where she mentored 100s of employees over a 20-year span. As she became more influential to employees through consulting and leadership, her focus transformed more towards career and small business development. One of the primary reasons for this transformation is noticing the lack of senior level and C-suite positions being made available for people of color, especially for Black Women. Additionally, those same employees not having access to resources to successfully start up a business, while working a 9 to 5.
In 2020, due to a reduction in force, Rokeya’s position was eliminated and she was laid off from the same company she had been employed for 17 years. This action gave her the push she needed to stop the “side-consulting” and open a formal, full-time consulting business of her own. Rokeya now brands herself as Brand Strategist, owner of Royal Consulting, a 1-stop shop, created to support your business, brand, or career development needs.
Her specialties include: Personal Brand Enhancement; Small Business Development; Social Media Strategy Development; Social Media Management; Content Creator Development; Consolidating Business Operations; Executing Employee Engagement; Advocating for Diversity and Inclusion; Modernizing Digital Marketing through Graphic Design; Career Advancement; Career Development Coaching/Mentorship; and Resume Revamp.
Rokeya holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and Master of Business Administration in Public Administration. She has won countless awards for her work in corporate management, employee engagement – especially in the area of Employee Resource Groups and diversity and inclusion – mentorship, and in business analytics. Her business is rated 5-stars by Google and if you visit her LinkedIn page, you will see numerous recommendations left by previous coworkers and/or clients.
Rokeya is also a digital content creator with an audience of over 14,000 followers across all social platforms! Her focus is to give back to her community by way of providing FREE small business and career tips, inspiration, while also mixing in a little travel entertainment for your enjoyment. Lastly, during her personal time, you will see Rokeya enjoy spending time with her daughter and fur-baby as a Single Mom or traveling the world. She is on a quest to visit all 50 states and visit all 7 continents (well at least 6 of them, LOL) by the year 2030! Currently, she is 30/50 for states and is only 2/7 for continents BUT has visited over 30 countries!!!
